A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., with visitation at 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Ellisville First United Methodist Church for Mrs. Jo Anne Guthrie, age 75, of Moselle. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 21, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Guthrie was a member of the Ellisville United Methodist Church. She was a retired mail carrier with Moselle Postal Service after 30 years of service. She was member of the National Rural Carriers Association and a member of the Wesleyan Circle of the Ellisville United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Jo Hourguettes, Sr. and brother, Jack Hourguettes. She is survived by her husband, John D. Guthrie of Moselle; daughters, Danielle (Drew) Gaitanis of Moselle and Denise (Freddie) Adcock of Moselle; son, John (Pam) Guthrie of Citronelle, AL; grandchildren, Kayla (Daniel) Knight of Citronelle, AL, Nichole (Trevor) Smith of Petal, Shelby Willis of Moselle, Grace (Jesse) Gainey of Ellisville, Claire Adcock of Pearl and Emily Guthrie of Citronelle, AL and great-grandchildren, Harley Jo Smith of Petal, Mila Smith of Petal, and Eli Knight of Citronelle, AL.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Laurel Christian Food Mission.
Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle is in charge of arrangements.
