Nicole Michelle "Nikki" Hammond

Nicole "Nikki" Michelle Hammond, 28, of St. Cloud, formerly of Aitkin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 24, 2022. She was born March 5, 1994 in Aitkin to Steve Hammond and Terri (Hembre) Anderson. Nikki was employed at Dubow Textile of St. Cloud. She was very proud of the fact that she was also in the process of starting her own jewelry business. Nikki was a very talented writer and also enjoyed working on her car with her father, Steve. Nikki loved hiking, kayaking, photography, beading, traveling and the ocean. She eventually wanted to move to Fort Meyers, Florida. Nikki will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Nikki is preceded in death by her grandparents, James "Shirley" Hammond and Mary "Claudine" Hammond and Lucille and Harry Hembre.

Nikki is survived by her parents, Steve (Sandy Yurrick) Hammond of Aitkin and Terri (Christopher) Anderson of Leesburg, Florida; siblings, Amy Hammond of Ocean Shores, Washington, Chad Hammond of Orlando, Florida, Troy Hammond of Riverton and Cody Hammond of Aitkin; other relatives and many friends.

Services will be Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11 AM in Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
