WATERVILLE - Peter Leon Muzerolle, 87, passed away Nov. 13, 2106, at Lakewood Nursing Home in Waterville, surrounded by his family.
He was born April 26, 1929, in Waterville, the son of Arthur Sr. and Lottie (Berard) Muzerolle.
He was educated in the schools of Waterville and graduated from Waterville High School in 1967. On Aug. 17, 1985, he married Dorothy B. Blakney Bolduc at Seton Hospital Chapel in Waterville. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1946.
Peter and his brother, Richard, owned and operated Muzzey's Auto Body Shop on Kennedy Memorial Drive for eight years. He worked for MCRR for 20 years, before retiring early due to an injury to his back.
Peter was a member of the Waterville Elks, and Centerpoint Community Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, boating, bowling, camping, dancing, and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Dorothy B. Muzerolle, of Winslow; two sons, Edward Muzerolle, and wife Diane, of Sidney; and Robert Muzerolle, of Boothbay Harbor; four daughters, Leah Romano, of Waterville; Kathleen Johnson and husband Gary, of Fairfield; Anna Gretta and husband Brian, of Orr's Island; and Lisa Muzerolle, of Portland; three stepsons, Scott Bolduc and wife Lauren, of Rome; Michael Bolduc, of China; and Chris Bolduc and wife Sue, of Waterville; three stepdaughters, Cheryl Wade, of Winslow; Cindy Jacques and husband David, of Winslow; and Lori Dumont and husband Michael, of Vassalboro; six grandchildren; 21 stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 27 stepgreat-grandchildren; and many nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by brothers, Richard, Arthur, Francis, and Morris; and sisters, Martha DeRaps, and Marjorie Lemlen.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Centerpoint Community Church, Waterville, with Reverend Craig Riportella officiating. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Dan & Scott's Cremation & Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Rd., Skowhegan.

Deepest sympathy to the Muzerolle family. I have many fond memories of your dad and your mom when I was young. Going to Pemequid and camping was always so much fun with Lisa. Sorry you have had both losses within 2 years. Sending you all prayers and thoughts. RIP Peter.

Heartfelt condolences to Pete's family. He was such a sweet man. My dad was his roommate for a short 5 weeks back in May/June before Dad passed. We still saw him often after Dad's passing .. Mom is also at Lakewood .. and last chatted with him just a month ago. RIP Pete... Give Dad a hug for me. Maybe now that you're both in a better place, you can enjoy a visit with each other and actually have a conversation.
