This is in memory of the many fun times we had with friends at UVA. Renee always was a true friend, and her concern for others was a beacon in her personality.

Dear Scott, River and Sophie,
I am also very saddened to hear of Renee' passing today. I knew Renee' when we worked together at CSX in Richmond and was honored to be a guest at your wedding. She was a beautiful person inside and out and she will be missed. Even though I had not talked to her in quite some time, I often thought of her and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was saddened to learned of Renee's passing. I knew Renee when we were very young. First grade at Riverside school. My fondest memories were in High School Drafting Class. Our instructor was J. Ross Weaver and I would joke with her that she was the teachers pet because they were related (I knew they were not). She always had a smile on her face and was very smart. My thoughts and prayers go to her and her family.

I am saddened to learn of Renee's passing. I was Renee's "Big Sister" at Kappa Delta at PSU. Although we did not keep in touch after I graduated, I do remember her great personality and how much she loved being a Kappa Delta. I still have the hand made Christmas Ornaments she gave me for Christmas one year.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family. May your memories of Renee bring you peace.

I am sorry for your loss. Renee and I were majorettes, sorority sisters and roommates at PSU - so many sweet memories. Renee was such a role model and inspiration - hard work, determination. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was saddened to learn of Renee's passing from a fellow UVa Kappa Delta sorority sister. Renee's Memoriam is noted in the Spring 2010 UVa Magazine that just arrived in the mail this week.
Renee was our "house mother" in the Kappa Delta house in the years around 1987. She was always happy, scary smart, and supportive of us all, despite the drama that 20+ undergraduate women crammed under one roof could create!
She served as a great example for us during her years at the Darden School. She was always willing to lend an ear like a big sis' with advice and guidance for each of us. We will all remember her fondly.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult year.

I was very saddened to learn today of Renee's passing. We were good friends at Penn State and she is the person who converted me into a true Nittany Lion fan. I would guess she still had the Joe Paterno signed bithday card I got for her while we were in College. Her energy, intellegence, and kindness will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Very sorry to hear of Renee's passing. She was a wonderful person and a good friend. We shared many special Penn State memories and are both from dear old Johnstown! Several Delta Tau Delta brothers and I had great times with Renee, Christi and her Kappa Delta sisters. We all have fallen in and out of touch over the years but the fond memories remain. she will be missed but will always have a special place in my heart.

Dear Renee,
We never met, and I never imagined I could only see you in this way... It was such an astounding and grievous moment when I saw the obituary notice on Avon's intranet that I was hardly in the mood for working for a whole day...
I will always miss your kindness in helping me know more about the company as well as the importance of our jobs. Thank you, and Rest In Peace. Wish you a Happy New Year over there.
All the best,
JQZ

Dear Scott, River, and Sophie,
I am so sorry for your loss. When I first met Renee, I was so impressed by her. She was smart, beautiful, and kind. I thought she was the perfect woman (great career/great family), and I admired her so much. I was honored when she read my novel and seemed to genuinely love it. I can't tell you how good she made me feel with her kind words. She even wrote a review on Amazon, which means the world to a first-time author. I cherish the time we spent with you guys. Blue Water Grill in Union Square. Madison Bar & Grill in Hoboken. And Burger Heaven with Sophie and River. I'm honored that I got to know your family. When Renee went on a trip to China, she brought me back the most beautiful, delicate book of bookmarks. I've always kept it on my writing desk, and I always will.

My memories of Renee were all at JHS. We were on the majorette squad and enjoyed all of our band trips, parades and competitions. She always endured and welcomed challenges in all of her endeavors. May God Bless her children, husband and parents at this most difficult time.

Renee was a beautiful person who loved life and her family to the fullest. We were blessed to have been her friend. No conversation with Renee was ever complete without her sharing experiences/joy about her precious children. Scott made her complete and they shared so much together. She was a wonderful friend. She had such a way about her. She will be forever missed. Our deepest sympathies to Scott, her children and mom and dad. We will keep you in our prayers.

Renee and I were buddies and competitors as children. It started with us sharing the same last name. As we moved on to high school, Renee worked harder and I couldn't compete with her abilities and her drive for accomplishment. I was not surprised to read about her professional and personal accomplishments. What a blessing she must have been to her husband and children. May the Lord comfort her family at this time.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Renee. We were quite the oompetitors in our younger years, altough Renee usually prevailed both academically and with the baton. Although I didn't know Renee as an adult, it sounds like she lived a full life just like she did when she was a child. My deepest regrets to her family.
