Passed away on April 14th 2017.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Richard's life will be held in The Great
Hall at The University of Sydney, Science Road, Camperdown at 10 am on FRIDAY (April 28th 2017).
A Private Funeral was held at All Saints Anglican Church Corryong on Monday (April 24th, 2017).

Time has passed and a lot has happened and I still think of you. I can still remember the last time I saw you, on the footpath, across from the Merewether deep in conversation with some visitors, no doubt working on the next venture. I didn't wave, as I didn't want to interrupt you but I wish I had.. as that was the last time I saw you. You were a good friend and very dear colleague and I wish you were here trying to arrange more funding for your students. Not many of us can say we made the world a better place but you really did Richard. I feel very fortunate to have known you and my thoughts stay with you, sorry that you left much too soon ...

I just found this page that should not exist. Cant believe youre gone. We wanted to see you this summer and now learn it is not going to happen. Richard I miss you much and always will. Thank you for more than 2 decades of friendship, for being the most beautiful soul and inspiration possible and for all your efforts on making this world a better place.
Thank you for spending so much time with us in July 2016, it was even more precious than we were aware back then.

I was really shot to know this news. He was not only the entrepreneur but also who loves the natures. We talked about the green projects as he desires to plant trees around the country as a memorial of EDNA graduation yearly. He worried about the climate changes year by years and he wanted to do for the next generations, saving them from global warming. He wanted to implement this idea as long term plan. We talked about this in February during his visit to EDNA Myanmar Super Entrepreneurship Development Day. He asked me to support him. He planned to start this project in my country when monsoon comes in July. This is the last time I saw him and talked with him. I walked him back to his hotel, counting steps together for fun. We enjoyed walking and had fun along the way. Such moment will never return and I will never forget it. Now I alone myself have to fulfill his wish. Rest in peace Richard, we will always remember you.

What a shocking and terrible news. I have just found out since I have been away. We only spoke in February and now this. No, I can't believe this! For me you always be Richi, energetic, enthusiastic and a great friend that you have been for the last 12 years! You will be missed Richi. Rest In Peace.
