Ricky Wayne Burgess SALTVILLE, Va. Ricky Wayne Burgess, age 54, passed away on Feb. 2, 2013, at his home. He was preceded in death by his father Edd "Daddy" Burgess; and a nephew, Wade Boardwine. He was a member of the Union Methodist Church. Survivors included his mother, Eunice "Mommy" Burgess; sister, Ann Boardwine and husband, Dean, of Saltville; brothers, Charles Burgess and wife, Alice, of Pulaski, Va., John Burgess and wife, Patty, of Saltville, Curtis Burgess and wife, Debbie, of Saltville and David Burgess and best friend, Shirley Keesee, of Marion, Va.; nieces, Regina Counts and husband, Chris, of Bristol, Va., Tammy Rolen and husband, Eric, of Saltville, Heather Williams and husband, Curtis, of Chilhowie, Va., and Brandy Fletchen and husband, Brandon, of Pulaski; nephews, John Burgess and wife, Lori, of Chilhowie, Michael Burgess and wife, Jennifer, of Saltville, Ashley, Scott and Christopher Burgess of Pulaski and Justin Burgess and girlfriend, Shylan, of Saltville; and great-nieces and nephews, Tucker, Madison, Willow, Chelsey, Skylar, Tina and Katie. Funeral services for Ricky Burgess will be conducted at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, in the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donnie Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Graveside services will be conducted in the Elizabeth Cemetery on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pallbearers will be John Burgess Sr., John Burgess Jr., Charles Burgess, Michael Burgess, Justin Burgess and Chris Counts.
