Mrs. Gannon and family,
I am so sorry to see Dr Gannon's Obituary today. I hadn't seen it earlier as I had been living out of PA for the past 5 years. I was saddened to see this. He was such a wonderful kind and caring Doctor. He delivered my babies in 1976-1977 and provided me with all my OB/GYN care until he retired. I had the joy and honor of taking care of a few of his patients at AGH when I was a Student Nurse in 1989. He was so kind and a pleasure to work with. He always had a smile and a kind word. I feel blessed to have known him. My sympathy to you and your wonderful family. God bless you all. Bettyann (Cowden) Hays.

To The Gannon Family,
I just saw Dr. Gannons' obituary today, and I wanted to tell you how sorry I was about his passing. He was a kind and very gentle man. One of the 5,000 babies that he delivered was my son, who is now 38 years old. God bless you Mrs. Gannon and your entire family, I know he is greatly missed by all of you.

So sad to hear about Dr. Gannon's passing. He was my doctor for many years when he was at Century Medical, and he was my surgeon when I had a hysterectomy in 1991. He was the most caring doctor and a most wonderful person. He took excellent care of me, as I had complications in the hospital after that surgery. I never once worried because I knew I had the BEST as my doctor.
We left the Pittsburgh area in 1992, but I never forgot about him. ❤

To the Gannon family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your husband, father, brother and grandfather.
Linda and I just heard of his passing and are both saddened to know that we won't be able to chat with him at the Steelers games any more. We always looked forward to seeing Bob and Mark at the games and both were always so friendly to any guests we brought that sat beside them. My son Ryan also recalls how friendly both of you were when he and his friends would sit in our seats and looked forward to saying hello to you at the games.
Bob always had a smile on his face and brightened our days, regardless of the weather or the score on the field.
Rest In Peace Bob and thanks for being such a good friend!

Dear Gannon Family,
Doctor Gannon will forever be in our hearts... 35 years ago this coming January we lost our son at 25 weeks. My husband and I were young and scared and did not know how to handle our loss. Dr. Gannon sat down with both of us, held my hand and said "I am going to talk to you as if you were my son and daughter" he proceeded to tell us that he though we should hold our son because someday we may regret that we never did. So we did! We will forever hold Doctor Gannon in our hearts for being an amazing doctor and a dad to us.... We were blessed that he delivered our next two healthy children... You are all in our thoughts and prayers.. God Bless
