I was so deeply saddened to hear of Samantha's passing. She was a beautiful person with a larger than life personality! I will always remember her with that beautiful smile. We met many years ago during our freshman year at Campbell University and actually ended up becoming suite mates. We haven't seen one another in many years but kept up through social media and it was evident through her many pictures and posts how much she loved her family. My heart goes out to her two precious children, husband and her entire extended family. May peace be with you all during this time of loss. Samantha you will be missed but never forgotten my friend!!

My heart aches for you all......I do know about loosing someone way too soon.....As bad as loosing Ray was, I can't imagine loosing a child....Samantha was an incredible young lady...her laughter was contagious and her love for life was evident in the great daughter, mom, wife, sister, friend and niece she was ......and as far as her strong personality, she was "just like Aunt Deanie" which was a "good" thing....she loved you all so very much........ and many will say that Sam has gained her angel wings and that Heaven has gained another angel....but as I have learned, (from Dr. Martin) angels are messengers and have specific jobs to do and when we get to Heaven we will rejoice and praise Jesus and never work again....so I imagine Sam being reunited with Ms Dorothy and other family and friends that have gone to Heaven before her...and I'm sure that Ray is right there showing her around and they are probably singing praises together to Jesus as we speak....but we know that she is in NO pain and is experiencing no tears and her Heavenly Father is comforting her ....and we are blessed with the hope that one day as promised when we became a Christian, we will see her and spend eternity with her and Jesus....and she would want to tell others about becoming a Christian and being assured of seeing her again one day...our sincere love and prayers to you all...know we love you all and are here if you ever need us, Kay and Tom Martin
