Sharla Goodwin Obituary
She was born on Aug. 11, 1971, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, to Howard E. Goodwin and Judy Fox. Sharla was a resident of Miramar Beach. She was Assembly of God by faith and a member of Faith Assembly Christian. She graduated from Silver Sands School in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Sharla was very outgoing, always smiling. She was known as "Little Angel." She had a special gift to never forget anyone's name once she met you.
Sharla was preceded in death by her father, Howard E. Goodwin; and sister, Shanna Goodwin. Sharla is survived by her mother, Judy Goodwin of Miramar Beach; two brothers, Scott F. Goodwin and wife Katy of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and Ryan Goodwin; one sister, Jodie Weafer and husband Michael of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. She is also survived by four nieces, Hollie, Faith, Hope and Tuesday; and two nephews, Christian and Cameron.
Visitation services will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. June 30 at Faith Assembly Christian Church, 306 Geronimo St., Destin, Fla., with the Rev. Toy Arnett officiating. Burial will follow in Gulf Cemetery.

Judy, for some unknown reason, I searched for your name on Facebook tonight and was shocked & saddened to learn that you have lost another child. I loved the description of her as always smiling, and an angel who never forgot anyone's name. Her picture reminds me of how you looked long ago in Avery, and it sounds as if she has many of your personality qualities as well. Take care and know that I think of you often and of the good times we've had through life, as well as the times of sorrow.

Everyday a smile...lit up the room! I hope it shines down on those who are grieving so they can remind all how a real angel has touched all that came in contact her.

Miss Judy, Gary and I and Isaac have so many wonderful memories of Sharla, some are.. she always greeted us with a hug, she always told us she loved us,and she always had a beautiful smile on her face..i know you will miss her dearly, but the lord wanted her setting next to him for awhile. Judy i really believe God only shares his special angels with special people and you were blessed to be chosen. Gary and I and Isaac love you very much and will keep you in our prayers.
