Stephen Rodney SAYER

SAYER, Stephen Rodney Known as Steve to his friends, Dad and Poppa to his family, passed away suddenly on Friday April 5, 2019 at his residence in Ennismore, in his 92nd year. Steve will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Violet, his wife of 64 years and their children, Glenn (Sandy) of Whitby, Michael (Laurie) and Marilyn of Ennismore and the late Bruce. He was a proud Poppa of Matthew, Christopher, Emily, Krista, Andrea (Jason Oszoli), Miranda (Kent Stratton), Bryce and Carter, and Great Grandfather of Keith Stratton. Predeceased by his brothers Mike, Brian and David. He will be dearly missed by his in-laws, Art and Audrey Stacey, and many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Retired Sales Manager for Swifts, Eastern Canada. An avid golfer, Steve enjoyed puttering around on his lawn tractor, gardening and taking care of his property on Chemong Lake. Cremation entrusted to Community Alternative Funeral Home. Keeping him forever in our hearts, and honouring his wishes, there will be no funeral service.
