Timothy Edwin Crepeau, 55, of Virginia Avenue, North Attleboro, died on Thursday morning, January 10, 2008 at the Golden Living Center – Bristol in Attleboro, formerly Pleasant Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Attleboro, as he was surrounded by his loving family following a courageous health battle that began 4 ½ years ago and struck him again last July. He was the former spouse and dear friend of Theresa (Kerekon) Crepeau.

Born in Brockton, Massachusetts on April 18, 1952, he was a son of the late Lionel T. and Ruth Helen (Monahan) Crepeau. Raised and educated in Stoughton, Mr. Crepeau was a 1970 graduate of Stoughton High School.

He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force on July 26, 1971 and served until his honorable discharge on July 25, 1975 when he was honorably discharged and served his reserve obligation.

He was a graduate of the LeBaron Academy in Brockton.

A longtime professional hair stylist, Mr. Crepeau started his career with the Dellaria Salon in Norwood and he and his former wife were the owners and operators of the former Timothy & Company Salon in Norwood for 13 years.

More recently he was a self-employed stylist working out of the Pizzazz Salon in Norwood.

He resided in North Attleboro for the past 21 years having previously resided in Norwood and Stoughton.

His family will lovingly remember his sense of humor and contagious smile.

As a sports enthusiast, he was an ardent fan of the New England Patriots.

A devoted communicant of St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls in North Attleboro, Mr. Crepeau served his church family as a Eucharistic Minister and taught CCD classes when his children were young.

His greatest accomplishment was that of a loving and dedicated father to his two children.

He enjoyed gardening and downhill skiing with his family although he was admittedly the best in the family.

In addition to his former spouse and dear friend, he leaves two children: Sean P. Crepeau of North Attleboro and Lauren M. Crepeau of North Attleboro; two brothers: Paul R. Crepeau and his wife, Christine L. (Malone) Crepeau of Canton and Joseph Crepeau of Aurora, Colorado and several nieces and nephews including his devoted niece: Tara Holzman and her family of Sharon. He also leaves several extended family members, friends, colleagues and clients whom his memory will forever be treasured.

What a beautiful tribute, the previous entries are, to Tim's life. I've known Tim since I was 2 years old and he first cut my bangs (I'll be 35 next month) a good many years and am honored to have known him. Lauren and Sean, he always spoke of you...you were his greatest joys. Tim's big heart, sense of humor, laugh, and even his jokes will always hold a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With deepest sympathy,

Please accept my condolences, very sad news to hear of his passing. I was a long time schoolmate and friend of Tim's. Although we did not see each other in our personal lives, we had so much fun at our class reunions and always caught up on our lives and our families. He was so proud of all of you. Tim will be sadly missed by all of us at the class reunions, but we will honor his memory forever.
Sincerely,

Terry, Sean, and Lauren,
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Tim. We will always remember his sense of humor. Especially the times when he would tell my sister and I, while he was cutting our hair, that our parents had called, and needed us to pick up milk, bread and eggs. Only when we arrived home, would we realize that he was kidding and they had never called! I think he tricked every member of my family at least once, and some times more than once! He will be missed. Much love to you all. Susan and Mary McManus

He loved you both so much and was such a good Dad. He made the best popcorn for me every time I baby sat. He was always in a good mood and his smile was contagious. He is now at peace. I am so sad to here the news of Tim's passing. So many years have gone by since we have last communicated. I have so many fond memories of my time spent with you and Tim, haircuts at Dellaria, parties in Bellingham, neighbors in North Attleboro. I remember when we worked together at Decelles in Medfield.
