I will carry forever fond memories of the good times I had with Tim. I met Tim through mutual friends after my arrival from Ontario in the summer of 1981. We all worked hard but would find time for Friday evening get togethers and various sporting activities such as basketball, touch football and squash on the weekends. This was a common weekly occurance for the 7 years I spent in Edmonton. I have since returned to Ontario and on my yearly visits to Edmonton, he would always find time to meet with me for some fun. He was a true friend and will be sorley missed.

A truly outstanding individual and an inspiration to all. I worked with Tim, relied on his expertise, and admired his placid temperament. I was deeply touched many times by his kindness, generosity, and respect for others. I will especially miss the occasional lunch outings we had with Tim. He had a way of gently persuading me to try new and different things that, on my own, I would never have been adventurous enough to do. He is sadly missed. My deepest condolences to his family.

Goodness, Kindness, Fairness, Generousity, Consideration...these are qualities that I remember about Tim. I think he sets the bar for many of them. He was a man that was professional in his work and yet had a mellow way in his human endeavors. His impact on friends and working colleagues is only becoming more obvious at this sad time.

I pray that his spirit live on in the Leung Family and others that were closest to him.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to the Leung family. I had the pleasure of working with Tim for more than 20 years, and I recall that he was one of the first people I dealt with when I first joined Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation. Tim will be missed very much by all who knew him and worked with him. His expertise, dedication, and calm professional demeanour serve as inspiration to all of us.

We send our regrets at such sad news of the passing of Tim. My wife Pat is from Red Deer and she and her family knew Tim growing up. I met Tim when I arrived in Canada from Montana for the first boom in the mid 1970's. I started my architecture career at the same firm with Tim. This was the start of a few lucky years of learning, hard work, and adventure.Tim welcomed me to Edmonton and we immediately became friends due to his kindness. He found me a place to live in the house he lived in at the University. He introduced me to his friends. We worked hard and played hard together in those early years with a group of talented, friendly, and colourful young people. He was a great cook and host. Though formal and well mannered, he was so much fun and extremely funny. He was often the instigator of many of our best times. We played sports, went camping and sailing, had an active night life, lively weekends, and still worked night and day during that building boom.

I look back on those times as among my favorite years - a very fortunate introduction to a new country for me....thanks mostly to Tim Leung. I know many people who will miss him greatly.

Dear Leung Family,

I have known and worked with Tim for over 25 years. He introduced and gave me an awareness and respect for the environment, as it relates to our profession of building and maintaining Architecture. Always the consummate professional, Tim has been a respected advisor and friend at all times. He involved me in some of his hazardous monitoring adventures, some of which ended up in headlines, with his team’s successful role quietly celebrated in the background. I will miss and remember him and his kindnesses for the rest of my life.

Dear Leung Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences at this time. I have worked for and with Tim for many years, he was a great boss and co-worker, but more importantly he truly was a great friend. He was a wonderful person to sit and visit with and I can't begin to count the many times he helped me and others through out the time we knew him. I hope that you can take comfort in the fact that Tim was very well thought of and will be missed by many.

Leung Family,

I have known Tim since I was 4 years old. I met him 20 years ago when my mom started working with him for
Alberta Infrastructure. Over the years Tim has been very influential to me in many ways. When I was in grade 9, Tim and Colin let me work with them on "take our kids to work day." This is an experience I will never forget. The opportunity that I was given by Tim has caused me to pursue an education in the Environmental Sciences Field.

I can't even begin to count the number of days I sat in Tim's office looking at slides on the microscope or talking to him about his job, or the times that I watched him play volleyball, wallyball or curling at lunch.

Tim was a brilliant man who touched the lives of many others everyday. Even though he kept to himself and was quiet, the number of condolences on here speaks volumes about the tpe of person that Tim was. His intelligence, patience, and professionalism are qualities that I admire and one day hope to possess.

Tim will be greatly missed by all. My prayers are with your family during this time of sorrow.

I was very saddened to hear of Tim's passing. I worked with Tim for four and a half years in the early '80's at Alberta Housing. We kept in touch over the years but haven't talked with him for a couple years now. He always returned my calls and was always in good spirits. Some AHC buddies met for dinner on Nov. 2nd and Tim said he was going to attend. He never showed up. I'm more sorry now that he didn't. My condolences to the Leung family. He will be missed.

Dear Leung Family,
Although I worked only briefly at Infrastructure over 20 years ago, I have never forgotten Tim. He was a gentleman, as well as a gentle man. He was approachable, patient, kind and professional but also liked to share a laugh with his staff and coworkers. I am so sorry for your loss and for the void he will leave in your lives and in those of his colleagues.

Dear Leung Family. I recently left the public service after 38 years and I knew Tim for the majority of my career. I always counted on his quiet yet sage advice and his extensive knowledge of facilities and people to help me do a better job. I will remember Tim as a gentle man always willing to help others even when he was swamped with projects of his own. The world is a poorer place without him.

Dear Leung Family,
Tim and I worked together on many different projects over the past ten years. During this time we all came to know him as a caring and introspective person who took the extra time to help you out with any of your concerns. He freely gave of his time and his sage architectural advice, whether it was work related or just a problem you were having at your home. And he always followed up to make sure the problem was solved. We will all miss him a lot here and his store house of knowledge will be greatly missed as well. His quiet and introspective nature had a way of bringing calm and logic to every discussion or problem. On a more personal level a small group of friends and I had the pleasure of spending time with him Friday's after work; sharing stories of the work week or reminiscing about the past. We will all miss Tim and will never forget his dry wit and astute political observations that kept us thinking and laughing at the same time. All of our prayers and sympathies are with your family at this difficult time.

I worked with Tim for many years at Alberta Infrastructure. I considered him a person who had great professinalism in his work.
I remembeer one time being in Peace River Correction Facility and I was shacking in my boots at some of the inmates who were right next to us. Tim turned to me and said maybe you should take a breather outside I'll finish this. Nothing ever seamed to bother him that much.
I am greatly saddened to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed by many in the industry but also by those who knew him and his quiet laugh.
Rest in peace good friend.
