Tommy Castillo

Tommy C. Castillo, of Missoula, Mont., and formerly of Deming, N.M., passed away Jan. 12, 2010, at his home after a sudden illness.
Tommy was born in Deming on Aug. 8, 1953, to Rosela Woods and Camillo P. Castillo. He was married young to Arlene and they were blessed with a daughter, Tricia Ann. She was meant to be an angel from the beginning as she passed away at the age of 5 weeks old. They were also blessed with a son Christopher.
Tommy lived his life from California to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. From Iowa he found his way to Missoula, Mont., where he met and married his soul mate, Char. They were together till 2005 when Char passed away.
Tommy was preceded in death by his mother Rosela Woods, father Camillo Castillo, his grandmother, Anita Estrada and his uncle Richard Woods and a nephew, Eric L. Castillo.
He is survived by his son Christopher, of Arizona, his sisters, Stella (Barry) Wilson, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Carrie Castillo, Amelia Castillo, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Two brothers, Robert Woods and Carlton Rich, of Deming, N.M. His aunts, Cecelia (Edmundo) Aguilar, of Philips Ranch, Calif., Teresa (Arturo) Holguin, of Deming, Barbara (Frank) Holguin, of Las Cruces, N.M., and Sylvia (and the late John) Brosemer, of Las Cruces, N.M. Brother-in-law (Billy) and niece, Kayleen, of Missoula, Mont. His many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
Per Tommy's wishes, there will be no services and he will be cremated and placed with Char. Cremation is being handled by the Garden City Funeral Home. Condolences can be sent in care of: 310 E. Elm St. Deming, NM, 88030, or 729 H Avenue NW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52405.
We remember you in silence, no eyes can see us weep.
