William (Bill) M. Keiley, Jr. of Framingham and Gloucester passed away peacefully January 6, 2018 surrounded by his daughters. His wife of 59 years, Marcia McPherson predeceased him in 2014. He was born in Rockaway Beach, Queens, NY, on February 10, 1931 the son of the late William M. (Sr.) and Muriel (Voight) Keiley. He was the eldest of five sons. He was predeceased by brothers Paul, Peter and Robert; he is survived by his youngest brother Lawrence. He graduated from St. Augustine High School, Brooklyn, NY in 1949, Boston College in 1953 and New England School of Law. He served stateside in the Army during the Korean War era. Bill leaves his five children: William (Matt) M. Keiley, III and wife Barbara, Hana, Maui, HI; Christopher J. Keiley and wife Kathleen of Gloucester, MA; Warren M. Keiley and wife Lynda of Haiku, Maui, HI; Amy Keiley Schur and husband Daniel of Westborough, MA; Johanna Keiley Cooperman and husband Steven of Southborough, MA; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Bill practiced law in Framingham and was active in his community. After retiring, he and Marcia became permanent residents of Gloucester and were communicants of Our Lady of Good Voyage Parish. They volunteered with the Cape Ann Conference of St. Vincent de Paul, serving the poor and disadvantaged. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, at Saint Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough, MA. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cape Ann Conference of St. Vincent de Paul.
