BLAKE KENDRICK
McCOMB — Blake A. Kendrick, 23, of McComb, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 19, 2017.
Blake was born in Bluffton, Ohio to Steve Dotson and Jodi Kendrick. Blake is survived by his mother Jodi (Craig Huffine) Kendrick of Deshler, Ohio; siblings: Brandon (Alex) Kendrick of Findlay, Brittany (Josh) Sattler of Arcadia, Nick (Allison) Huffine of Portage and Madison Huffine of Bowling Green; uncle: Jerry Sigler and Robert Dotson; an aunt Pam Hadding; nieces: Haidyn and Riley; nephews: Lawsyn and Brantley; cousins: Destiny Caldwell, Andrea Hudson, Makenzy and Kaylee Dauterman, Alicia and Ramiro Sigler, James and Chris Hadding; his canine companions Angel and Diamond. He was preceded in death by his father Steve Dotson, grandpa: Charles Sigler, grandmas: Helen Dotson, Mary Sterrett and Rita Zeiter; aunt Sonja Hudson and an uncle Chuck Sigler. and his girlfriend Marie Beach.
Blake was a 2012 graduate of McComb High School and was currently a student at James A. Rhodes State College studying Applied Business and Human Resources. He enjoyed racing his CR250R dirt bike and competed in Motorcross racing, winning many competitions. Blake also enjoyed cruising in his Mazda RX8 and riding go-karts. Blake had no fear and was a Gear Head that could fix anything. Blake loved spending time with his family, whether it was camping, going to cookouts, having a bonfire or being at the river on the boat. He will always be remembered for his manners and big heart.
Visitation for Blake will be on Friday June 23, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 & 6:00-8:00 PM at the HARTLEY- HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 370 Park Dr S., McComb, Ohio 45858, Drew DeVore, Funeral Director. His Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday June 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM by Pastor Randy Allen in the funeral home. Interment will follow at the McComb Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be gifted in Blake's honor to Team Recovery, 1618 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43612.

My condolences to the family. I just learned of Blake's passing. I was fortunate to call him my friend, we went to school together at Rhodes. I will keep you in my heart and memories for the rest of my days, thank you for all the smiles. God speed my young friend and I will see you again one day little buddy...love you!

My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time of tragedy. I've known Blake for many years. He was friends with my son RJ. I remember his beautiful smile.. and how thoughtful he was. He was always so polite.. And such a joy to have around. He will truly be missed. Heaven gained an angel. He made his Mark here on Earth. His Footprints will never be replaced. It was an honor to know him.. And I'm so glad he became apart of my son's life.. And I'm honored that I got to know him as well... to know Blake was to love him. I am so very sorry to hear about Blake he was the sweetest boy, I remember going to his dads all the time me and my kids, and raceing with him on the go karts I have no words to tell how sad we are. I know they won't comfort you l wish I could tell you that it won't hurt the rest of your lives it will get easier time will lesson your pain he will forever be young and beautiful God bless you all he will be forever missed :(

Sincere condolences to you all. My heart aches but I can not imagine the pain of losing a brother or child. I know the Lord will comfort you all at this difficult time . Blake and his dad were my first friends when I relocated to NW OHIO in 2007. Ill never forget meeting Blake&Steve at Walmart while I was searching for the perfect gun to get my son for Christmas. Blake noticed me with a sale ad for guns and asked if he could see it, then he helped me pick out all of the things needed for my sons Christmas gift. Blake and my son Brian(BigMac)got to meet after Christmas that year and became best of friends. Blake became part of our family. Brian spent many weekends with Blake and his dad doing all sorts of things but my favorite was the Squirty Worm visits and the jokes about the worm mascot wanting his dad. Blake was good at anything he did..he did so many things, was in so many sports; he just had natural talents. Blake will always be in my heart, he is already missed so dearly. Rest In Peace !!
