I am so sorry for your loss. I lived across the street from Fred on Rosin in Clinton Twp. He was a great guy. I remember him buying all my candy bars so I didn't have to sell anymore in the snow and cold. I also remember when he was with the K9 unit he brought his dog to Chippewa High for career day in my class. The 3 of us were a hit.
RIP Fred you were a good man and my condolences to your family

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember doing early morning runs when you lived on Ben Franklin. Fred left for work and always blinked his headlights to greet me. A life well lived but gone too soon.

I am a neighbor of his mother and one day I accidently dropped a very tiny, very important earring into the sink and in a panic I ran next door to Louise's to see if she knew someone in our neighbor who could retrieve it and lucky for me Fred was there having lunch with his mom. He very nicely ran over to my place and opened the pipe and retrieved my earring. Ever since that day when I put that earring on I thank Fred for saving that ring. From now I will also add a prayer for my earring angel. May God bless him. Heaven has a new angel.
