DRACUT, MA -- Carol F. (DiPietrantonio) Sullivan, 79, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her loving companion and sweetheart Joseph Torchia, who passed away in 2009.

Carol was born in Cambridge on September 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Mario and Frances (Moscato) DiPietrantonio. Carol attended Billerica Memorial High School.

Prior to retirement, Carol was employed as a waitress for many years at the Post and Rail in Billerica as well as Town Meeting in Chelmsford.

Carol was beloved by her many friends whom she lunched and vacationed with and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Carol loved to play cribbage and was a member of the Cribbage League in Billerica, and recently won the Championship in 2014. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her loving family, who meant the world to her.

Carol is survived by her five children, Karen Benoit and her husband Paul of Littleton; Scott Sullivan and his wife Christine of Dracut; Patrick Sullivan and his wife Kim of Londonderry, NH; Carol and her husband David Moriarty of Salem, NH and Alan Sullivan and his wife Amy of Huntsville, OH; her siblings Eric DiPietrantonio of Mansfield, Lucy Gareri of Chelmsford, Mario DiPietrantonio of West Palm Beach, FL, Janice McPeck of Mansfield and Marilyn Centerino of Mansfield. 16 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Carol was predeceased by her late husband, Al Sullivan and her brother Mark DiPietrantonio.

SULLIVAN -- Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on SATURDAY, October 24th from 2-6 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her funeral service will take place following calling hours at 5:45 p.m. at the Dracut Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will take place at 1 p.m. at Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica on TUESDAY, October 27th.
