Len G. Rogers, 63, of Valparaiso passed away Friday, May 26, 2023.
He was born July 29, 1959, in Montgomery, West Virginia, to the late Lee Roy and Erma Ann (Fauber) Rogers. Len retired after working for several years in restaurant management. He found enjoyment in watching movies, especially the Marvel series, listening to music, playing putt-putt golf, cars, and was an avid Cubs fan. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Len loved spending time with his family.
On Sept. 9, 1989, Len married Peggy Hayhurst, who survives along with their children, Jonathon (Emily) Rogers, Jimmy Rogers and Melissa (Ryan) Vega; granddaughter, Kennedy Vega; siblings, Leroy (Renee) Rogers, Helen Titly, Harry (Deb) Rogers, John (Brandi) Rogers, Debbie (Skip) Westphal, Charlie (Tara) Rogers and Jana (Matt) Piesker; in-laws "Mom and Dad," Don and Patt Hayhurst; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a service beginning at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel for Towers Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
