I loved the way you looked at me,
Your eyes so bright and blue.
I loved the way you kissed me,
Your lips so soft and smooth.

I loved the way you made me so happy,
And the ways you showed you cared.
I love the way you said, "I Love You,"
And the way you're always there.

I love the way you touched me,
Always sending chills down my spine.

And glad that you were mine.

John, I know you can see her, but your granddaughter is just amazing. She is so beautiful, and everyone says she looks more like Cory. You would be so proud of her. She's already kicking at Cory, and we're hoping she'll play soccer. You are in our lives everyday, and we all love you very much.

Hey Pop. I visited Skowhegan the other day. Had a chance to see your Mom and Uncle John and Peter. I wan't sure if your Mom was going to remember me but when I got there she said 'I'll be damned'. A memory that will stay with me for as long as I live.

I miss you Pop and love you dearly.

John,

I met with your family yesterday, I see why you were so proud of them. I have to admit I was a little scared, but as soon as I met them they reminded me of you and everything was fine. I finally got my hugs and kisses from the twins they were every bit as awesome as you said they were. and they know what a great Grandpa you were. Trish, Corey, & Mason never forget how much JT Loved you. I could see him in each one of you. :)

I'll always love you Baby.

John, you are a remarkable man. I am so honored to have had you as a father, and be a part of your family. You should be so proud of the son you raised in Cory. He is an amazing husband, friend and father and I know he owes much of it to you. Devan will know you as if she sees you everyday, and you will always be a part of our family traditions. I feel as if I am the luckiest person to have been a part of your life, even if just for a short time. I love you, Laura

Daddy, It has been hard to wake up in the mornings lately. Your birthday has passed. Sean, Lance, and myself bought you 5 balloons and filled them with special messages then sent them to you. When the boys could not see them they told me that you got the balloons. Who knew they were so smart. Happy 59th Birthday! We were thinking of you. For fathers day We cooked you our famous breakfast. You know the one we always cooked together. I almost didn't want to come home from work because I knew you would not be at my house in the morning with the coffee already brewed waiting for me at the kitchen table. I think of you always and know you would want me to be happy but sometimes it does not feel right. We are all meeting up in Maine this weekend with family, Mary, mom, and Peter to celebrate your life. I love you dearly and will talk to you later.

Love your only daughter (remember this!)

THANK YOU! Thank you for being the best father you could be. I have so much admiration for the man you were and I strive every day to become the man I know you always felt I could be. It brings me so much happiness to know you will always be watching over my family and I can’t wait for you to meet your first granddaughter in September. I was looking forward to watching you hold her and to share a cigar while you gave me some words of wisdom. As I cope with the pain of losing you I try to remember some of the things that made you one of a kind. Like the way you would write an email in the subject line (which by the way always annoyed the hell out of me), like the way you would listen to Burt and I during our trips up to Maine. Happy birthday Dad and have a great father’s day this weekend. I’m looking forward to having a big lobster to celebrate your life and all the wonderful things you were able to accomplish and all the wonderful lives you were able to touch. I love you

You were the one to run to, for a shoulder to cry on...

You were the one everyone relied on...

Any dreams or fears were safe with you...

I'll admit I ran to you too...

We used to talk for hours about our futures...

Now I know none of it will ever happen...

I know if you were here you would tell me "Be strong"...

"Don't cry" "I'll be here waiting for you..."

I just want you to know you will never be far...

My mind will always be full of memories of you...

I have known John for over 6 years. It was a devastating blow to find out he had passed away. My children and I wish to offer our condolences to Mason, Cory, Trish, and those handsome twins.

John was always there for me when ever I needed him. He always had a kind word, positive support, and gentleness like no one else. He was a truly selfless man who always cared about everyone. He loved with passion and was never judgemental.

John I will miss our talks. One thing I know is that he was truly devastated by his fathers death and now he is reunited with him once again. I know you will be with us all John. Rest in peace my very special friend. I love you. :o)

Love,

Dawn

Dad, I miss you so much it hurts. I have picked up the phone many times to call you and it was then that I realized I would never hear your voice. It was then that I realized I would never see you again. It was then that I realized you would not see your grandsons grow up. It was then that I realized you would not walk me down the isle at my wedding. But at these times of saddness I will remember your love for me and know that you will always have a listening ear if I need to talk. Love always, your Daughter

We got to know John as an affiliate in NPA many years ago and he was enjoyable to work with, always honest and upfront. We had dinner together in May and he was upbeat and looking forward to a move to Maine. I am glad that we ended up sitting next to each other that night. We will miss him and his pleasant way. We will say a prayer for his family.

John helped me recruite a number of qualified staff when I worked for a former employer. I recently reconnected with John when I needed to find qualified IT staff in my present position. I never had the pleasure of meeting John in person, but felt I knew him well through our many telephone conversations. His voice always came through with a smile and positive outlook. My thoughts go out to his family.

John was one of the good guys. He was a man of his word and I will miss him greatly. I worked for and with John from 1995 to 2001 running the Biomedical Division of HRC on Cape Cod and we shared many great times together. We had a mutual trust and respect and I will always look back on my time with John with great fondness and warm memories.

John and I were associates during my 25 year career at The Travelers Insurance Companies. As the Director of Claim Payment Systems and DP Staffing & Recruiting, he assisted me in filling many professional/technical career positions (1980-1994). We later became friends and enjoyed many social activities together.

I will always remember John as having a very positive attitude and a tireless dedication to his career. I will remember John in my prayers.
