Blake was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Trevecca University. He was employed as the Dairy Manager of Food Lion of Manchester where he worked alongside many of his closest friends. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and he helped establish and volunteered his time at the All God's Children ministry in Manchester. Blake was a delight to all who knew him. He is well-known for his intelligence, keen wit, and sense of humor. He was a movie buff as well as a technology, music, and video game enthusiast. He enjoyed running and working out at the gym. Blake was always the "life of the party" and is loved and will be remembered by all of his family and friends. Blake's generosity continues as 52 people benefitted from his gift of organ donation. His family and friends hope that you, too, will be inspired by Blake to become an organ donor. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 16 from 5-7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Manchester. Blake's memorial service is Thursday, March 17, at 6 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Manchester, Rev. C. J. Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, Blake's family requests donations be made to All God's Children. These may be sent to First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Jackson St., Manchester, TN 37355. (Please note AGC-Blake Hester Memorial in the memo section.) Arrangements with CENTRAL FUNERAL HOME of Manchester, TN. www.centralfuneralhome.com.

I still can't believe it's been 8 years since he's passed. I remember him coming up to McDonald's before I get off work every night, ordering a 10pc. mcnugget combo with Sweet & Sour sauce and a Dr.Pepper. Still remember his order. Always had them fresh out of the fryer and suddenly he didn't show up. Then I get a phone call from my sister telling that he passed away. My job wasn't the same since and I quit after 10 years. Continued love and prayers to the family.
