Rose Jackson Obituary
MARION: Rose Marie Jackson, age 86, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her home. Rose was born June 8, 1930 in Marion, Ohio to the late Robert Earl Powers and Grace Aretta (Berry) McCurdy. Rose married Herman F. Jackson who preceded her in death on December 7, 1969.
Rose worked for GTE as a clerk in their data entry department. She was a devout and lifelong member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and served many years as a Pioneer Minister.
Rose is survived by sister, Sharon R. (Lawrence) McKee, brother, Robert G. (Kathy) McCurdy, niece, Kathy (Mike) Newell, nephew, Don Powers; and numerous extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Powers and sister, Sandra K. Williams.
A memorial service will be held in Rose's honor Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2654 Harding Hwy E, Marion, OH.
Memorial donations may be made in Rose's honor to The Kingdom Hall.
