Kenneth Netznik Obituary

Kenneth W. Netznik
Kenneth W. Netznik, 74, of Camp Hill, formerly of Whitehall and Wilmington, Del., passed away Saturday, February 26, 2005 in the Holy Spirit Hospital. Born August 15, 1930 in Allentown, he was a son of the late William E. and Theresia (Bauer) Netznik. He was a retired postmaster from the management sectional center, Harrisburg, general manager of the Washington Bulk Mail Processing Center, Washington, D.C., director of the mail processing operation, Wilmington, Del. and director of finance at the Lehigh Valley Sectional Center, Lehigh Valley. He received the Postal Career Executive Service Award for extraordinary performance which contributed significantly to the overall effectiveness of the postal service. Kenneth was a Marine Corps veteran serving in the Korean War, a former 1st sergeant of the Marine Corps Reserve, Lehigh Valley and a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. Survivors: His wife of 49 years, Shirley (Wentz) Netznik; three sons, Jeffrey Netznik and his wife, Ramona, of Greenville, N.C., Michael Netznik and his wife, Karen, of Palmerton, and Peter Netznik and his wife, Kimberly, of Camp Hill; daughter, Susan Kennedy and her husband, Terry, of Richlands, N.C.; 10 grandchildren, Jesica Oates, Tracie McKay, Kenneth Netznik, Michael Netznik, Andrew Netznik, Thomas Netznik, Simon Netznik, Nathaniel Netznik, Ivey Kennedy and Chloe Kennedy; five great-grandchildren, Austin and Dylan Oates, Jakob McKay, Benjamin and Lukas Netznik. He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris, wife of Paul Scheifele of Salisbury Township. Services: will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2005 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Whitehall. Viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 3 in the Neil Funeral Home, 3401 Market St., Camp Hill. Contributions: May be made in Kenneths honor to a charity of the donors choice.

He had sent me pictures of us on Raub Junior Hi football team and then also the wrestling team at Allentown High and then the High

School track team and I was always on his right side,I will always
