Merced, California - Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service for Cheryl Lynn Daniels, who passed away peacefully as she was surrounded by those who loved her most, on February 8, 2021 due to lung cancer. The service will be on February 24, 2021 at Bear Creek Community Church, 1717 E. Olive Avenue in Merced, CA at 11:00 AM.
Cheryl was 63 years old, born on November 28, 1957 in Merced, California to James Benjamin Godfrey and Shirley Ann Graham. She is survived by her husband and the love of her life Michael Ray Daniels, who she met when she was 17 and he was 16 years old and married on February 3, 1992. They had four children together, two of which preceded her in death in 1998, Michael Benjamin Daniels and Jeremy Lee Daniels. She is survived by her other two children Christopher Steven Daniels and Melissa Jean Daniels and her seven grandchildren Christian Daniels, Caitlin Daniels, Caden Martinez, Amira Eltareb, Tariq Eltareb, Khalid Eltareb and Bentlee Gastelum.
Cheryl was big on family, church and dogs. Those are three things that she always went out of her way for. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She was proud of her children and talked about them every chance she got. She especially loved her role as grandma. She never missed birthdays or sports games and she always made sure to be the loudest one in the stands cheering. Cheryl loved church and her church family and never missed a day unless she absolutely had to, and she was probably one of the most loyal members of Paw Patrol. She took rescuing animals very seriously and enjoyed every bit of it.
Cheryl never made you doubt the love she had for you. Even if she didn't say it, oh you felt it. She had a heart of gold and was the epitome of an angel on earth. She will be vastly missed.
