Jo and Family,
We were very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Mr. Jack was a very good man. You gave him the best by caring for him during his difficult times. I know you wouldn't have had it any other way. He is smiling down on you and will be eternally grateful for all you did for him, even when you didn't know if you could go on another day. God is great and gives us the strenght to do so. These next days are difficult, a time of reflection, as well as healing. Wishing you peace through this adjustment. We love you and are here for you.

MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU, JO, AND YOUR FAMILY. I WONDER IF THOSE TWO YOUNG REDHILL BOYS ARE BAREFOOT IN THE SAND AGAIN?

August 25, 2016

Dear Jo, Mrs. Nixon, Byron and family,
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Nixon. Y'all were my second family for so many years, and some of my fondest memories were made with your family. Mr. Nixon treated me just like a daughter and I always felt welcomed and at home at your house. May the days, weeks and months ahead fill you with love and joy because you did everything you could do to care for him. May God bless you all as you try to adjust to life without this sweet, kind, wonderful man. I am blessed beyond measure to have been a part of your wonderful family. Much love to each of you.
With Much Love,

Judy Lindsay

Dear Nixon Family. I loved Jack Nixon. He was the first person to welcome me to FUMC. His loyal attendance and contributions were inspirational to us as parent's of a young boy. Sometimes, from the choir loft, I could see the look on his face as he would sneak a peek at his beloved Irma, and I would sing even louder. The Nixon's made my heart sing. We are all diminished by his passing. My most sincere condolences to his wife and family. May they find comfort in knowing that he is at peace and greeting the celestial newcomers.
