We were saddened to learn of Abbys passing. My mother Grace Budd worked at Sorrentos resturaunt on Laketon for decades. She got to know the family of Cre Lombardi and Abby Mancuso Sr thru the resturaunt.
I haven't see Abby in probably 25 years. Time goes so fast!
I'll pray for the remainning family members for Peace and comfort.
May God bless you.

Abbie was a family friend. In the late 70s-early 80s he would pop by in his Cadillac, on his way to cruise the ovals at Pier Marquette Park. He loved music so he always had the latest tunes playing (cassette!) in his car. To echo the sentiments here - he was so kind and encouraging. He did not have a judgmental bone in his body. He loved everybody. You felt good after you had a conversation with him. He would ask you questions about yourself/your life and was so unassuming. He was a good listener. Always upbeat and looking to have a meaningful conversation. And yes, he was always making me laugh. Our family thought of him as one of our own. Lots of memories - especially around good food and Sorento's. He was a great cook, too, sharing how he made spaghetti sauce. His knowledge of healthy living and self-care was unmatched. I´m so sorry Phyllis and to his family, on behalf of the Rhoades family, we send our love. Know that we are thinking of you. May Abbie rest in peace.

Abbie had been a friend of my mom since they were in school! I remember being a kid and running into him when he worked at Plumbs I believe and then GNC. Every time I would run into him I would get a huge smile and a chat. Hopefully Abbie and my mother are having a smile and chat in heaven.

My heart is joyous for where he is now, but sad because I won't see him again. What a special and kind person he was. I enjoyed his company and sense of humor. Sympathies to his family. Until we meet again, Abbie. <3

Abbie, I know you´re walking with Jesus now but we are sure missing your kind soul down here. We had a good exchange going where you taught me about healthy food and supplements while I helped you with gadgets. Everybody appreciated your gentle, giving spirit and bible knowledge. Until we meet again on streets of gold!

I have known Abbie for over 60 years. He was one of my best friends. We talked often , at least 4 or 5 times a week. He often talked about Linda, the Love of his life. He always said he was so blessed that God had put them together. I grew up with Abbie so I know his family. He will be sadly missed by those that Love him.

I worked with Abbie for years at Plumb's supermarket. He was in charge of the health foods. His death came as a shock. He left us way too soon. But we shall see each other again. Adios my friend!

Abbie and I were friends many years. I moved away to Texas in 2007. Once I moved we would talk on the phone sometimes for a couple hours. When I came to town visiting family. I usually would stay at his home at least 1 night before going to my in-laws. We always invited him over to my in-laws for dinner and Bible discussions. We went to almost every coffee shop through the years. We had a private joke as brothers in the Lord he would always say are you coming over to clean my kitchen and yes I did do that. I´m going to miss him. He had a kind spirit and loved everyone. My last conversation was about a week ago he was leaving home to, I believe have dinner with his mom. I use to drive 3.5 hours to visit my daughter in college it was usually late he would talk to me until I got to my destination. I am sorry I didn´t take more time with him. He always said he was coming to visit Texas . Unfortunately, it never happened. My friend and brother in Christ we will see you again. Enjoy eternity.

I am at a loss for words. I just saw Abbie at the Coffee Factory and he seemed fine. What a loss. Always with a hello and that heartwarming smile he had. I will sorely miss seeing that smile. I am so sorry for your loss because he was a genuine wonderful person. My heart and prayers go out to your family. He will sorely be missed.

To the family of Abbie, it is with great sadness that a dear Christian brother has been taken from our midst. Abby was a marvelous person in so many ways, kind, friendly, and sincere and above all, a witness of his faith that influenced a multitude of acquaintances. Our Lord and Savior is surly pleased to have him in His Kingdom, safe and sound forever.
Friend for eternity, Len Gokey

I´ve had the pleasure of sharing conversations with Abbie 3 or 4 times a week for past 9 years at the coffee shop. He called us boys at work " chaps" or " his sons" He would bring us jokes followed by wise words on health and spirituality. Though he was still on his own journey ,His faith made him fearless of his destination. His presence will be greatly missed.

This came as quite a shock to me today. I feel privileged and honored to have known him over the years although I had not seen him in quite a spell. We always had great thought-provoking conversations and had our share of good laughs. He was very intelligent in his own right. He was a kind to all, thoughtful, empathetic, and just an all-around great guy to be around. I always said this of Abbie; if you can't get along with Abbie than you can't get along with anybody. My deepest of condolences and sympathy to his family. May you find comfort with every beautiful memory of him. Abbie; May the Road Rise to Meet You Until We Meet Again. Johnny Garzelloni
