Anna Lee "Nana" Stiltner, 67 years of age of Harman, VA went to her heavenly home Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN following a brief illness. Born July 10, 1954, in Murphy, VA she was the daughter of the late Don and Eula Jackson.
Ann was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County. She grew up in Council and later moved to Harman. She earned her Associates Degree from Southwest Virginia Community College and worked for Buchanan General Hospital, B&L, Buchanan Explosives, and Nichols Construction spanning a 40-year career, until she retired in 2013. She loved being outdoors whether it was just walking around, planting and caring for flowers and gardening, or taking care of her dogs and cats. She was a talented artist and loved to draw and paint. After she retired, she dedicated herself to her family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and sisters. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Ann was a member of Harman Memorial Baptist Church She will forever be remembered and missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
In addition to her beloved parents Don and Eula Jackson, Ann was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Lois Yates, brothers-in-law Harry Stiltner, Frank Stiltner, Tex Stiltner, Donny Sullivan and Danny Scammel, niece Lisa Scammel, and great niece Lynzie Jackson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 41 years Eddie Stiltner, sons Brandon (Nicole) Stiltner and Dustin Stiltner; grandchildren Fredrick Chase Stiltner and Piper Sylvia Stiltner; sisters Bonnie Jackson, Nancy Jackson, Sherry Jackson, Carol (Mark) Fletcher, and Janet (Roy) Rogers; brothers Larry Jackson, Danny (Debbie) Jackson, David (Brenda) Jackson, Gary (Kathy) Jackson, and J.D. (Trish) Jackson; sisters-in-law Rose Scammel, Jean Stiltner, Elsie Sullivan; brothers-in-law Larry (Wanda) Stiltner and Grover (Debbie) Stiltner. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral service for Anna Stiltner will be held at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, Grundy, VA, Monday, May 23, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Shea Shrader officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Family Cemetery, Laural Branch Road, Council, VA.
Active pallbearers will be Brandon Stiltner, Dustin Stiltner, Ryan Jackson, Cody Jackson, Mark Jackson, Timmy Jackson, and Justin Stiltner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Stiltner, Bebo Stiltner, Scottie Scammel, and Kevin Sullivan
The family will receive friends at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, Sunday, May 22nd after 6:00 p.m. with evening service being held at 7:00 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in honor of Ann to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for cancer research.
