April Renee Orr

April Renee Orr passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Grady Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of life will be Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Gray Memorial Chapel at 5:00 PM with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service. Dr. James Gazaway will officiate.
April was born in Macon, Georgia on April 8, 1975.
April is survived by her loving husband of twenty-five years, Michael Daniel Orr; her children, Maghan Orr and Michael Orr her parents, Mark (Robin) Guy and Sheree Michael) Radcliff Bell; her siblings, John (Kelli) Guy, Amanda (Brent) Waddell, Shanaya Starling, and Teresa Glover; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
April never met a stranger. She lived her life putting others before herself and had a heart devoted to caring for family, friends, and her cherished fur babies. She loved cooking, gathering her family together, and being there whenever someone needed her. April taught compassion, support, and strong family values by the way she lived every day.
She found joy in making others laugh through her jokes, spending time with family and friends, and cooking-especially her famous pound cake. April will always be remembered for her kindness, her selflessness, and her unwavering presence in the lives of those she loved, always finding a way to make someone's day a little brighter.
In lieu of flowers and in April's memory and her love of gardening and the outdoors, the family request that you plant an Azalea, Japanese maple, or Dog Wood tree in her memory or share one with the family.
