Bennet Goldkrand

PERRY, GA –
Bennet Howard Goldkrand, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 6, 2023. At his request, all services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Perry Animal Shelter, 204 Kellwood Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
Bennet was born and raised in the Boston, Massachusetts, area where he was a Taxi Cab Driver for many years. He moved to Pompano Beach, Florida, to live near family members. While there, he worked at the local Publix in the Bakery making and cooking the donuts every morning. For the past twenty-five years, Bennet has lived in Perry. He was a kind person and always cared deeply about his family and his special friends through the years. He loved animals, was especially fond of cats, and faithfully maintained his membership with the Humane Society every year.
Bennet was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Helen Golden Goldkrand; and his sister, Rachel Goldkrand.
Survivors include his niece and her husband, Lois and Will Perkins of Lakeland, Florida, and his most recent furball friends, his cats, Norman, Lucy, and Speedy.
