Bryten "Buggy" Lee Nordal Hagerty, 18, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away on February 8, 2026.
Bryten was born on March 26, 2007, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Brian Hagerty and Kristen Taylor. He was a vivacious little boy who loved his parents and siblings more than life itself. When he was a year and a half old, when his bonus momma, Heather Flinn, came into his life in a whirlwind, and he loved her more than there were words to explain it.
He was an avid football, hockey, skateboarding, and car enthusiast. Even if he didn’t know what he was talking about when it came to cars, he would argue to convince you that he did. He had the privilege of living in many states and getting to see a plethora of things in his short life. Montana, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, Ohio, Indiana, Texas. Everywhere he went, he gained more and more people who loved him more than he could ever know. He lived with all of his siblings separately at some point, and he adored them all. He was stubborn and hardheaded, but he was the light of everyone’s life. He was the light in the dark.
Music was his love language, and he felt and expressed himself through music. If he found a song that reminded him of you, he would send it to you so that you could mutually bond over the song together. He expressed his pain, love, hurt, and happiness, through song. If you were ever sent a song by him, that’s how you know he loved you.
Bryten is survived by his parents, Brian (Heather) Hagerty and Kristen (Bill) Squires; siblings, Brian (Kallie) Hagerty Jr, Michael (Gabby) Combs, Arial (Jack) Hagerty, Vickye (Tucker) Lancaster, Tatteana (Troy) Baynes, Mark (Maryah) Lee, Kendrick (Amanda) Hagerty, Kye Flinn, David Hagerty, Serenity Hagerty, Zach Sutherland, Michael Frank, Stetson (Angelle) Moskovita, Brendan Marcoux, Devon Taylor, Shyla Squires, and Connor Squires. He is also survived by his grandparents, Alan Flinn, Vickie Bowles, and Marlene (Dave) Taylor; uncles, Rusty Flinn and Cohen Larsen; and his mother from another brother (and sisters), Sandra Sheets. He was also the lucky uncle of quite a few nieces and nephews, who absolutely adored him more than life, and he adored even more.
A Celebration of Bryten's Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome.
