Gary Lee Keller was born in Chandler, OK on July 24, 1947, to George “Woodie” Keller and Addie Mae (Brocaw) Keller. He was a 1965 Graduate of Chandler High School. He married Barbara Jean (Williams) on March 29, 1968. Together they raised 3 boys, David Wayne, Michael Don, and Ryan Keith. He served in the National Guard from 1967 to 1972. He attended Central State University and Rose State College. He began his career as a Chemist and later became a jet mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 32 years of service. He carried on his father’s business of Keller Electric and HVAC for over 50 years. He took pride in being a coach for not only his boys but many others throughout the community as a Little League Baseball coach. Gary was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer. He shared those hobbies with his sons and grandchildren; even the youngest ones have memories to cherish of fishing or golfing with Grandpa. He was a Charter member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and music minister for 40 years. He was a man of God and served his Lord proudly through music. He spent years traveling in a quartet singing gospel music and spreading the Lord’s word. Gary departed this life on March 19, 2025, in Stroud, Oklahoma at the age of 77. He was joined in heaven by his parents Woodie and Addie Mae and one sister Georgia Mae. Those left behind to carry on his memory include his brother Charles of Arizona, his wife Barbara of the home, sons and daughters in love David (wife Jeresa), Michael (wife Joan), and Ryan (wife Michelle), 4 grandchildren, Katelyn, Dillion, Sarah, and Alivia, 2 great-grandchildren Jaxton and Bailey, 8 bonus grandchildren, 9 bonus great grandchildren, and his church family, along with a host of friends and co-workers.
