Obituary
Glenn Joseph "Joe" Taylor Sr., 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. A native of Chesterfield, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Clarence William Taylor, and Nina Jewel Crouch Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Roy Scott Taylor; his brothers, Clarence "Chief", and Harvey; his sisters, Lois, Nancy, and Margie; and his grandson, Phillip Taylor.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Judy Frances Adcock Taylor; his sons, Glenn Joseph Taylor Jr. and wife Shannon, and Robert Monroe Taylor and wife Theresa; his brother, William "Billy" Monroe Taylor; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will greet guests from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Taylor will be held at 12:00 pm immediately following the visitation. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly. Woodlawn Funeral Home is serving the Taylor family and condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org.
