Naugatuck - Harold C. Rapp Jr., 75, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Cynthia (Leonard) Rapp.
Mr. Rapp was born April 9, 1950, in Milford, the son of the late Harold C. and Doris (Reed) Rapp Sr. He graduated from Shelton High School, Class of 1967 and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army as a Green Beret. He had worked for many years as a Security Guard.
Besides his mother, Mr. Rapp is survived by his sons Ryan Rapp, Justin Rapp, David Rapp, Robbie Leonard, Corey Leonard; his brother Johnnie Rapp; his sisters Dorothy Rapp, Linda Sturtevant, Lila Bendlak, Diane Aeschlimann; as well as five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his brother Carl Rapp.
Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Monday from 4pm to 6 .p.m at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Members of the Naugatuck Veterans Council will assemble at the funeral home at 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Naugatuck.
