James "Jim" Henry Resh Jr. – Exploring New Horizons
James Resh Jr., 66, of
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, embarked on his final thrilling quest on December 27, 2023. Born on May 28, 1957, in
San Francisco, California, James, lovingly nicknamed "Jim," has now set off on an epic adventure beyond our mortal realm, leaving behind a trail of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Jim was a nature aficionado extraordinaire, conquering mountains like a champ and exploring the wonders of the great outdoors with boundless enthusiasm. He wouldn't just hike, he'd hike-five! His passion for roaming and rambling knew no bounds. Why walk around the block when you can strut around the whole wide world three whole times? Now that's what we call taking "getting steps in" to a whole new level!
But Jim's adventurous spirit didn't stop there. He had a heart as warm as a campfire on a chilly night and a sense of humor sharper than a forest ranger's pocketknife. Beyond his love for nature, Jim was known for his kind and caring ways. He had a great sense of humor and never took life too seriously. His infectious laughter brightened the lives of those around him, and his genuine kindness touched the hearts of many. He could turn even the grumpiest of faces into a smiley masterpiece.
Jim leaves behind an amazing cast of characters who were lucky enough to share his journey- survived by his forever adventure partner, Jacqueline Resh; his awesome mom, Irma Resh; and his dynamic duo of sons, Adam Resh and Samuel Resh; his trusty brother, William Resh; his spunky sister, Diana Sandman; his partner-in-crime, Suzanne Simpson. Let's not forget his little trailblazer, grandson Owen Henry Resh. His two daughters he didn't know he needed, Sherrie Evartt and Sarah Stockdale along with a plethora of grandchildren. He now reunites with his father, James Henry Resh, who we're sure is ready to cook up some heavenly mischief together.
In addition to conquering mountains, Jim was an intellectual conqueror. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from California State University Long Beach. He then mastered the art of business by securing his Master's at Dominguez Hills State College, he was an unstoppable force of knowledge. He would often share his precious treasures of useless information when the opportunity arose. With the spirit of a true trailblazer, his professional journey saw him shine as the Director of Marketing at Freymiller Trucking from 2013 to 2017, Director of Marketing at National Beef from 1997 to 2013, and as the pinnacle of pricing prowess at Prime from 1993 to 1997. With Jim at the helm, no challenge was too steep!
