Jay Hadding Obituary
Jay was an exceptional electrician, known for his skill, dedication, and work ethic. Whether he was wiring a home, lending a hand to a friend in need, or complicated electrical systems, he always approached his work with pride and precision. His knowledge and expertise made him a trusted professional and mentor and he took great satisfaction in all that he accomplished.
Outside of work, Jay had a deep passion for motorcycles. The open road called to him where he found freedom and joy in the hum of an engine beneath him. He spent countless hours on customizing his 1982 Harley Davidson Shovelhead "Twisted", exploring new places, and forming lifelong friendships within the motorcycle community. Jay was never without a smile when sharing stories of his rides and his enthusiasm for life was infectious.
Jay's kindness, warmth and genuine nature made him a friend to all. He was someone who could always be counted on - weather it was for a helping hand or just a moment of camaraderie. His presence brightened the lives of his friends and all who crossed his path.
Jay's memory will live on through the countless memories he created, the work he did and the joy he brought to all those around him.
Rest in peace, Jay. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A memorial service and ride will be held at a later date.

Mom and I miss you and we have for a while. I'm sorry our life together wasn't any better. And I'm sorry there 's was so much distance between us. You will be missed and you are loved. We have always appreciated you. I know you're going to a better place.

Jay has been my best friend, mentor, and bike building and riding partner for years. We have ridden to Sturgis, Daytona Bike Week and Biketober Fest at least 5 times. He was the kindest, most amazing man I have ever met. We have built two award winning bikes together (at Daytona bike week). Jay was always up for a ride, Jay put over 30,000 miles on the road since I have known him. Jay loved life and went out of his way to help anyone he could. He was an amazing, extremely knowledgeable, master electrician who took great pleasure in mentoring and bringing up new talent. Jay, I miss you, I know you are in a much better place. Some people wonder if they make a difference, my friend you wrote the book on making a difference.
