Joshua Rios, born on April 25, 1986, in San Antonio, Texas, was a vibrant soul who filled the lives of his family and friends with joy and laughter. Tragically, Joshua was taken from us on April 14, 2025. He grew up in the Lubbock, Texas area, where he formed countless friendships and cherished memories that will be forever held in the hearts of those who knew him.
Joshua was known for being the outgoing life of the party, a caring and protective presence in the lives of his family, particularly his mother, Gloria Rios, his wife Kimberly Salazar, and his sisters, Monica Rios and Venessa Brown. He had a gift for making everyone around him smile and was always in the moment enjoying the simple joys of life, especially his time spent with family and friends. Even through his trials and tribulations throughout life he found the light in everything around him. His fun-loving spirit and unwavering loyalty made him an irreplaceable part of his loved ones’ lives.
Joshua leaves behind his beloved son, Elijah Rios, along with many others who were impacted by his vision for a life full of love and connection. He is preceded in death by his father Rudy Rios.
