Larry J. Pierson

Larry J Pierson, age 83, of North Aurora, IL passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Mercy Center in Aurora, IL. He was born on December 8, 1940 in Streator, IL the son of Riley and Helen (Yaeger) Pierson.
Mr. Pierson served his country proudly as a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Larry was united in marriage to the former Carol Anderson and they spent the next 37 years happily together. He was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Pierson of North Aurora, IL; his children, Jeannean (Jeffrey) Osborne of Cherokee Village, AR, William Pierson of Somonauk, IL, and Richard Pierson of Arizonia; his step-daughter, Debi Michaels of Plano, IL; his grandsons, Jedidiah (Courtney) Pierson and Sean Niswonger; his great-granddaughters, Maggie and Sophie Pierson and Katelyn Niswonger; his brother, Mike (Pam) Lively of Kansas; and his sister, Robin (Russ) Beatty of Kansas; Dewayne (Melinda) Pierson of Wisconsin; Sue (Russ) Stephenson of Wisconsin; Lisa (Dave) Smith of Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Helen Lively; his daughter, Helene Pierson; and his brothers, Richard "Bud" Pierson and Greg Pierson.
