Lloyd Lee Calvert, 70, of Farmington passed away April 10, 2025. He was born August 30, 1954 in Bonne Terre to the late John Jesse and Evelyn (Jennings) Calvert. Lloyd was a member of Parkland Chapel of Farmington. He enjoyed remodeling homes, hunting, fishing and watching MMA and UFC. His greatest joy was being known as “Poppy” to his grandchildren and attending all of their sporting events.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Crystal Candy Stricklin and one brother, John Kevin Calvert.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Anna (Hughes) Calvert; three children, Lance (Vanessa) Calvert, Ryan (Deborah) Calvert and Jesica (Jonah) Woods; six grandchildren, Abigail, Taylor, Elijah, Brynlee, Olivia, and Natalie; one brother, Tim Calvert; one sister, Beverly Myers. Several nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mike Harrison officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorial donations may be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
