Matthew James LeBoeuf, 43, passed away on April 12, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Matthew was born on September 15, 1981, in Tacoma, Washington to Terry James LeBoeuf and Maureen Margaret (Apmann) LeBoeuf, Matthew was raised in the spirit of exploration, community, curiosity, and faith.

Growing up in a U.S. Army family, Matthew experienced life across various states and countries, finding joy in new places and new faces. His love of travel began early, staying with him throughout his life. As he once said, “The world is so beautiful, and I am so blessed to be able to experience travel.” Matthew spent his formative years in York, Maine, where he graduated from York High School and became actively involved in the community as a member of the York Police Explorers, New Hampshire Civil Air Patrol, York High School cross-country team, and as an altar server at Saint Christopher’s Catholic Church. He began working in his teenage years, offering compassion and care while employed at an assisted living facility.

Having a passion for technology and aviation, Matthew found purpose in a job that combined both. He previously worked for a company that operated flight simulators, a role that was perfectly suited to his technical skills and fascination with flight.

Matthew was a man of many pleasures including shrimp Po Boy sandwiches, Italian food, strumming a guitar, and casting a line while fishing with family in Louisiana. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his young son, Eugene, the light of his life.

Matthew will be remembered for his inquisitive mind and engaging personality. His legacy will live on in his sons.

He is survived by his wife, Bethany (Zabcik) LeBoeuf, his beloved son, Eugene, his soon to be born son, Robert, his parents, Terry and Maureen LeBoeuf, brother, Christopher LeBoeuf (wife Davielle), sister, Michelle LeBoeuf Taylor (husband Matthew), grandmother, Nancy Apmann, godmother, Kathryn Simpson, two nieces, two nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Matthew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clairfey and Elmire LeBoeuf, his maternal grandparents, Henry Apmann and Bernadette (Sheehan) Apmann, and his godfather, Eugene LeBoeuf.
