Michael St. Bernard

Michael John St. Bernard, age 68, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was born November 20, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Gordon and Delores (Michalski) St. Bernard. Mike graduated from Blissfield High School with the class of 1974 and countless stories of mischief.
Mike had a kind heart and never missed an opportunity to make a joke or quote a favorite movie. He could often be found watching a variety of Michigan sports in his U of M sweatshirt. Mike had an endless stream of knowledge on classic rock bands and would frequently update his family on which song he was learning on guitar that week. He attended countless concerts during his life including Queen, The Who, and U2. His collection of first place racquetball trophies, CDs, and albums was enviable.
Mike was passionate about his long career in water treatment. He began his journey in Blissfield, Michigan, without knowing that he would dedicate many attentive years to management and teaching in East Lansing. He had a natural gift for chemistry and math and enjoyed showing off his ability to do equations in his head.
Left to remember his legendary stories are two daughters, Raeanne (Chris) Macklin and Janette (Erik) Huisman; his brother, Robert St. Bernard; his sister, Janet McMullen; six grandchildren, Ayla, Cole, Tyler, Lyra, Nash, and Harrison; and many cousins, nieces, and one nephew.
A private memorial will take place at a later time.
