Nancy L. Dickey

1939 - 2025

Nancy L. Dickey passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025. Born Dec. 4, 1939, Nancy spent most of her life as a resident in New Kensington, PA, having only a few years ago moved to Clermont, FL, to live with her daughter. Before officially leaving the workforce, she worked at her local library, where, in addition to her other duties, she was given the opportunity to use her creative skills and design various billboards each month. Each morning, Nancy spent time in the word of God, doing her Daily Devotion that she received from her church. She cared deeply for others and loved spending time with family and friends. She was known to make extra food to share with family and friends, especially when they needed some comfort or help. She used her baking skills to bake cookies, which she sold so that she could buy gifts for everyone she loves. She also did yard sales to generate extra income so that her children could participate in extracurricular activities. She enjoyed her card ministry and reaching out to friends and loved ones on their birthdays to sing "Happy Birthday" over the phone. We know that many will miss those calls. Nancy will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and children, Vicky (James) Buckley of Safford, AZ, David (Darlene) Nelson of Glendale, AZ, Patricia (Mike) Gonda of Grafton, OH, Susan (Tony) Lollo of Clermont, FL, and Erin Dickey of New Kensington, PA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Rita Baker; and her sister, Patricia Kirkland. A celebration of Nancy's life and service by Pastor Paul Reiner will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Salina Bible Church, 4132 PA-819 Avonmore, PA 15618.
