Patricia Ann Keene Moseley, loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend, was called home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at her side. She was 73 years old.
Patricia was born to Cameron & Peggy Keene in Jena, Louisiana on August 27, 1949. She had two brothers, Douglas Keene and Darrell Keene and one sister, Janice Keene Davis.
Patricia Ann & her husband, Gary Don Moseley, met in Jr. High School in Jena, Louisiana. They married on August 8, 1968. In 54 plus years, they built a life in Baytown, Texas, with their two children, Kimberly Ann and Gregory Don. While Gary Don worked as a process technician at Dow Chemical, Patricia was a hardworking Beautician and later Sales Associate for Armstrong McCall while also raising her two children and making sure they didn't miss any activities they were involved in including, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball and Cheerleading. After retiring, Patricia Ann & Gary Don moved back to their hometown, Jena, Louisiana, to enjoy their days with friends and family, often having lunch at the Brisket House and Mitch's to name a couple. They loved having coffee on their porch when special friends would stop by, including June & Johanna Fowler, Roger & Michelle Byrd and Carl & Hilda Husband.
Patricia was a wonderful Grandmother & Great Grandmother to all of her Grands. They all called her Nana and they loved spending time with her. We all knew we would not go hungry when Nana was with us. She always had an ice chest in tow packed with cold drinks and amazing snacks for all. Of all of her treasures here on Earth, being Mama and Nana is what she treasured most.
Patricia will live on forever in our hearts. She was the love, light & strength that kept our family together. She was special to all who knew her. She was a loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews taking them in and loving them in times that they all remember well. She always kept a smile that would light up the room and a lap for any baby that needed to be held or rocked.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cameron & Peggy Keene; sister Janice Keene Davis; and brothers, Douglas Keene and Darrell Keene; Mother and Father-in-law, L.T. Jr. & Billie Moseley and Billie Annette Moseley.
She is survived by her loving husband Gary Don Moseley; children, Kim Moseley Evans & husband Jerel, Gregory Don Moseley & wife Tish; Grandchildren, Devin Evans & wife Sarah, Courtney Moseley Barber & husband Ryan, Katelyn Evans Sikes & husband Joshua, Jordyn Evans, Whitney Moseley Sherman & husband Cort, Seth Hamilton, Braden Moseley, Grace Hamilton and Peyton Moseley and nine Great Grandchildren. Many special Nieces, Nephews and great friends that were all dear to her heart.
Serving as Pallbearers: Dustin Keene, Samuel Keene, Braden Moseley, Peyton Moseley, Devin Evans and Vinson Whatley. Honorary Pallbearers: Ryan Barber, Josh Sikes, Cort Sherman, Benji Nelson, Brady Nelson, Denman Evans & Seth Hamilton.
