Paul Allen Fogle, passed away November 5, 2024, one day before his 41st birthday in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of Hershey Medical Center, where he had been a patient many times over the years. Paul highly respected and valued the entire MICU staff and Dr. David Chu as his physician. He built many special friendships with MICU staff that went way beyond the hospital walls. Their attention to him in in his final days was of the greatest possible professional and personal care.
Paul, a son of Rev. Dr. Jon A. and Rebecca (Gerhart) Fogle, was born in Lansing, Michigan with complex health and medical disabilities that continued throughout his life. He lived his life with joy, love, determination and a commitment to servant leadership. He loved talking politics and sports and connecting with others virtually as his health dictated.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two brothers, Thomas L. Fogle, and Andrew J. Fogle; his grandfather, Allen S. Fogle, husband of Kathy; aunts Alison, wife of Michael Devine, and Andrea, wife of Scott Stevens, Step Grandmother, Ruth Gerhart, several dear cousins and his loving girlfriend, Kim Schoelen, along with many many treasured friends and family members.
Paul was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul J and Mary J Gerhart, his Uncle Thomas Gerhart, and fraternal grandmother, Sonja Fogle.
Paul was a 2002 graduate of Palmyra Area High School and later a School Board Director for the school district, representing Palmyra on the Intermediate Unit 13 Board. He was a 2008 graduate of Penn State University, majoring in Public Policy. As an undergraduate, he was a summer intern for the US Senate, and continued to passionately hone his political views. He was a founding member of PYLN (Pennsylvania Youth Leadership Network) and devoted his professional life to Disability Advocacy work in Lebanon, Lehigh, and Berks Counties.
Paul was the owner and founder of PF Strategies, a disability focused consulting service company, assisting disabilities services nonprofit and community/educational organizations through trainings, advocacy support, project management, grant services, and social media management. He served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Education Advocacy Leadership Center (PEAL), United Church of Christ Disabilities Ministries, the Pennsylvania Rehab Council and the Board of PA Vent Camp.
Paul grew up loving the church and was a long time member of Salem UCC, Campbelltown, attended Hill UCC, Lebanon, and more recently a member of Immanuel UCC, Shillington. He served on various committees for the Penn Central Conference and at the national level of the United Church of Christ.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, Nov. 20th, at Immanuel UCC, 99 S. Waverly St., Shillington. Visitation with the family will be held from 10-11:00 AM. Wednesday, at the church.
