Sammieree Pearson

Sammieree "Sandra" Pearson was born February 26, 1943, in Cuthbert, Georgia to the parents of the late Lila Mae of Cuthbert, Georgia and Samuel Marshall of Waverly Hall, Georgia. She was one of five children in the Marshall family, who later relocated to Boston, Mass. Her siblings included the late Ruthie Marshall, Mary Marshall, the late Gladys Merricks, and the late William James Marshall.
While in Boston, she met and married the late James "JP" Pearson of Tupelo, Mississippi on January 28, 1961. Together, they built a family and were blessed with five children: Lorrie Pearson, Marie Pearson, Patricia Pearson, Twylar Waites and Stacey Pearson
She attended Girls High School and pursued further studies through college courses. She dedicated her career to working at Gillette and later contributed her skills at Stop & Shop. She was known for her strong work ethic and generous spirit.
Sandra was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where her faith and love for the Lord were constant source of strength throughout her life. She was known for her love of her family, music, dancing, singing, cooking, and knitting, always bringing warmth and joy to those around her.
She departed this world peacefully, surrounded by love. She leaves behind her sister Mary Marshall and sister-in-law Clarissa Marshall, along with her children and grandchildren: Anthony Pearson, Bryan Waites, James Pearson, Shataye Waites, Kadijha Pearson, Daliyah Middleton, Davonte Middleton, and Lorrie Pearson-Natal.
Viewing will be on Saturday April 26th 10-11 AM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home at 11 AM.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
