Walter Edward Baldwin

Walter "Eddie" Edward Baldwin, 81, of Waverly, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his home.
He was born, July 10, 1943, in Independence, Missouri, son of Walter Edison and Hattie Christina (Martens) Baldwin. On June 2, 1962, in Waverly, Missouri he married Judy Ann Bock who preceded him in death May 5, 2013.
Walter was a 1961 graduate of Grand Pass High School. He was a cable splicer and manager for the telephone company for most of his life. He also served the people of Waverly for many years working as a Police Officer and ran the ambulance for the Waverly area. He loved fishing, was a baseball coach and umpire, loved spending time in the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Smith and husband Scott, Lebo, Kansas; three sons, Mike Baldwin, Waverly, Missouri; Jeff Baldwin and wife Kristine, St Augustine, Florida; Mitch Baldwin and wife Gena, Waverly, Missouri; a brother, Larry Baldwin and wife Kathy, Branson, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Richard Fiorino, Jade Belew, John White, Taylor Beach, Makayla Bacon, Savanah Hargett, Eric Smith, Bubba Jones, Garrick Baldwin, Gia Baldwin, Gutherie Baldwin, Brittan Baldwin, Kalin Baldwin, Oakley Baldwin, Peyton Baldwin; 22 great grandchildren, Carol Ann Belew, Eli Beach, Noah Beach, Phoenix Bacon, Addison Smith, Aleck Smith, Aksel Smith, Jase Jones, Jett Smith, Kayden Smith, Audriella Crawford, Ashleigh Baldwin, August Baldwin, Abigail Montgomery, Remington Montgomery, Ace Baldwin, Tatum Baldwin, Gunnar Sosa, Hazel Baldwin, Gracyn Giffen, Mia Ide; a great great granddaughter, Amelia Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a great grandson, Jaxson Belew.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the Waverly Cemetery, in Waverly, Missouri, with burial to follow.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the Bittiker Funeral Home, in Carrollton, Missouri
Pallbearers will be Eric Smith, Bubba Jones, Oakley Baldwin, Peyton Baldwin, Garrick Baldwin and Gutherie Baldwin.
Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great granddaughter.
The family suggests contributions to Friends of the Friendless Animal Rescue.
