EDWARD KUBAS age 82, beloved husband for 50 years of Judy (nee Dutchcot); loving father of Kathryn and John (Cheryl); devoted grandfather of John Jr., Michael, and Allison; cherished son of the late John and Kathryn (nee Matula); dearest brother of Jennie (Frank) Shontofski, Frank (Eleanor), Stella (John) Pokos, Leon, and the late Matthew (Macie), Helen (John) Reinhardt, George (Helen), Mary (George) Buckner, Nellie (Adolph) Zambrzicky, Joseph (Irene), and Bernard; brother-in-law of Linda (Albert) Howell; dear uncle and friend of many. Edward was born on November 27, 1938 in Hooversville, Pa. and passed away on October 23, 2021 in his home, in Willoughby, surrounded by his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Ed was a dedicated worker and enjoyed his time working for the South Euclid Service Department. He prided himself on his work. He was known for his wide collection of items. Ed was a faithful husband, father, and family man. He devoted 50 years to his bride, Judy, and together they enjoyed many vacations, especially trips to Maui and Disney World. Ed was a loving, kind, and generous man who found great pleasure in the act of giving to others and making people laugh. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Ed to Cleveland Clinic Hospice, 6801 Brecksville Rd #10, Cleveland, OH 44131. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44094, at 10 AM. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ed at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
