All these years later and that picture of my now 23 year old son and Mrs Squires is still on his dresser. She was one in a million and an inspiration to all !

She was, without a doubt, one of the loveliest people I have ever met.She always listened without judgement, spoke without malice, and living with all of what others may have viewed as burdens, saw a beautiful world.
I truly believe she touched ALL she encountered, from her family, her students, and even the vendors who sold her lottery tickets.
She was inspiration to all.
May she rest in peace.

We just heard the news and are so sad. We are so grateful to have known such a great person. My daughter had Mrs. Squires eight years ago, and to this day we still talk about how she was such a great person and teacher. She touched so many lives in the selfless actions that she did. Despite her own difficulties, which most people would have given up along time ago, she kept moving on happily and made this world a much better place. We will truly miss her. We express our deepest condolences to her entire family and Rosie dog.

I am so very sad to hear of the loss of such a wonderful, warm woman. Two of my three children were Kindergarten students of Mrs. Squires, and I could not have asked for a more kind, patient, loving woman to begin them in their school careers. One is now a college student and the positivity of Mrs. Squires' has followed her through her school career. My youngest child, to this very day, has a picture of himself in his Kindergarten class with Mrs. Squires on his dresser in his bedroom. I have never met a more kind, warm, positive and selfless person in my life. She has touched so many.I can absolutely say that I am a better person for having known her and will eternally be grateful to her. She truly lives on through the many children she nurtured during her lifetime. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
