COAL TOWNSHIP - Timothy L. Neary Jr., 62, of 1028 W. Montgomery St., passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, due to COVID-related complications.
He was born Sept. 22, 1959, in Shamokin, to Timothy L. and Pegge (Houser) Neary, Sr. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an electrician at National Beef.
He married Cathy Scholl in 2008, who preceded him in death.
Timothy is survived by his mother, Pegge Neary; a sister Susanne Heisler and her husband, Kent; a sister, Shane Williard; and nephews Phillip Kline, his wife Kelani and their daughter, Gwendlyn, and Kyle Brosh. He is also survived by his loving companion, Roxann Bashore and his surrogate grandchildren Makendyn, Karslyn, Riley, and Karli. He will be missed by his faithful animals Nanook, Merlin, and Finnegan. Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Neary Sr.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mostly Mutts of Sunbury.
NEARY - Timothy L. Neary, Jr., 62, of 1028 W. Montgomery St., Coal Township. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W.
