George and I worked together at SIG. Along the way we made some trips for projects we were working on. He knew so much about his trade. But I got to know him as a man and he taught me things about people that I will always remember. Positive things, good things. I think I learned to love country music with a lot of his influence.
May you stand near Jesus, George.
Your friend, Tom.

My dad taught me so much through out the years. I think that if it wasn't for him to have stepped in my life then I wouldn't be where I am today. He taught me so much, and I cherish the father son moments that we were able to spend together. You will forever be in my heart...R.I.P dad.

George was my co-worker and a good friend. He had a great sense of humor; always quick to share a joke and a laugh. He was a straight-talker and as honest a man as I've ever met. He took pride in all that he did and he taught me a lot about our field of work. As much as I will miss him, I take some small comfort in the fact that I at least had the privilege to know him. Rest well my friend and know that you are missed by all who you touched during your life. My thoughts are with you Jackie, and all of George's children and grandchildren.

I was married to George for 21yrs, I loved him with all my heart, but I know hes in a better place with his family (mom, baby, grand baby, dad AND brother). We had our times that were difficult like most marriages but we always were able to get through it all. It will be hard to face life without him but with the help of my family and grandkids I think that I will be able to get through this. I have always felt that he is the love of my life and I probably will never love again but I can accept that, knowing that when god needs me up above than I will again be by his side. YOU will ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND SOUL MY LOVE. R.I.P

George and I worked together in Houston’s Nabisco bakery for 14 years. He had a quick wit and an ability to make people laugh. He worked hard, and played hard, he was loyal and dedicated. George was my friend, not just a co-worker.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all who grieve his passing. All who knew him will miss him.

I worked with George at Interbake and Nabisco. He was a great man, one of the best in his field, and a true friend. When he called me with the news of his illness, I was devastated. I prayed for his positive outcome, but there were other plans from above.

I will miss George very much. My thougts and prayers are with Jackie and his family.

My dad was a great father he touht me so much about life and how to be strong, he was a hard worker and would always bend over backwards to help anyone that he could, but god decided that he needs him now and that his time here on earth is over...It will be so hard to accept that he is really gone but In my eyes his body was just a shell and his soul will always be here in our hearts. I love you daddy!!! I will miss you so much!!! Rest in peace you will forever live in my heart!!! From grandkids: R.I.P grandpa and take care of us from up above..."We love you grandpa".
