Jim Deaton Obituary
Jim "JD" Deaton, 69, of Erlanger, passed away Tuesday July 5, 2016 at his home. Jim worked as a press operator for Hennegan Printing for 25 years and he was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, he was a Kentucky Colonel, and he was a former member of the Kenton County Jaycees. Jim enjoyed traveling, golfing, photography, spending time with his grandchildren and he had a passion for the 4th of July and particularly setting off fireworks. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Deaton; and his grandson, Brandon Fisher. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Deaton of Erlanger; his children, Laura Deaton of Cincinnati, OH, Troy Novak of Florence, KY, Todd (Amy) Novak of Taylor Mill, KY, Brian (Shannon) Deaton of Goshen, OH, Sean (Renee) Deaton of Apex, NC, Don (Kathy) Deaton of Edgewood, KY; and his sisters, Patricia (Larry) Weeks of Harrison, OH, and Diane (Johnny) Blakley of Florence, KY. He also leaves behind his 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday July 11th, 2016 at 10AM at St. Henry Catholic Church in Erlanger. Just sitting here thinking about Dad and Uncle Jimmy today 6/10/2017 and decided to lookup Uncle Jimmy on here. I didn't know he had passed. I was planning a trip up there to make contact with the family. If anyone reads this please call me @ 919-492-5692. Aunt Mary Ellen cousin Ray Noble. We Lost a very good friend.
Co-Worker of the Hennegan Company.
We worked many hours with jim.
In the printing Industry.
You would work sometimes 7 days a week.
We were on 3 months mandatory work.
So see you became like family because you were at work
Longer than you were at home.
He is a good person and jim over worked his shoulder.
Jim cut paper And he would have to lift many pounds of paper.
Jim is keeping an eye out for us.
And I know he earned his wings.
Love you jim and I can say love from the Hennegan Company too.

I am still in shock.
Jim worked with me at the
Hennegan Company.
He was a great person .
His goal was to retire and enjoy life.
Like I said I am in shock.
I was just talking about him the other day.
The last time I seen him he was at the eye doctor.
Jim I will miss you. But I know you are looking down and keeping an eye on us.
