I remember Troy’s singing from way back & Will have it in my playlist always. My heartfelt condolences to Emily, & the family. Just remember, “All is well.” May God bless & keep you always.

Every time I listen to one of his song I’m am so blessed, but also reminded of such great loss. Then I began to pray for his family because I understand what it feels like to lose loved ones unexpectedly. Our hearts grieve for the Sneed & Flowers family over the loss of this awesomely talented musician, and precious brother Troy Sneed. I wished for the opportunity to sing for him in a FB request some yrs back. He thought I was with a group of sisters, but no, I wanted him to hear songs that I alone had created.
There are very few words that anyone can say to bring Comfort to a heart dealing with grief. May you know how much we loved him too, and appreciated the gift God gave him by all the kind words and expressions of love shared by many. Eph. 6:10 says Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Though it's seems unreal that he's gone on, Remember "All is Well" in Christ Jesus. Rejoice in knowing that 'one day', you will see him again and Oh what a joy that will be. Be encouraged in the Lord.

I never really met Troy but he changed my life. I did endless research on him because his effective witness enticed me to run and want the more of GOD. I am his #1 fan. His music and several interviews taught me that worship is a life style. I learned intimate praise and worship through Troy Sneed; his music ushers in the presence of GOD and takes you up into the spirit. I am forever grateful for this Holy Worshiper. From the moment we first met at FAMU, we had mutual respect for one another. I was in theater and the concert choir, Troy was in the gospel choir. I always knew he had something special. His 1st album w/theFAMUGospelChoir later proved it. I will remember him for his intellect, talent, his great sense of humor, and for just being a great human being who loved the Lord and dedicated his gifts back to his creator. We had the best of fun and worship attending Pastor Donnie McClurkin's 'Back To Holiness' workshops back in the day. My friend, you will be greatly missed but your legacy lives on through your children and your music. My heart goes out to your wife Emily, your children, and grandchild. God's Peace.

My most sincerest and heartfelt condolences go out to the immediate and extended family of Mr. Troy Sneed...a GENIUS!!! I watched and listened to Mr. Troy perform on a Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel show Saturday night...as a tribute was done in Mr. Sneed's behalf. I truly enjoyed listening to Mr. Sneed whose voice was pure and I could tell that he was a very SPECIAL person!!! Do not question...but accept because God doesn't make mistakes. Mr. Troy Sneed is now at an ETERNAL destination where we have yet to arrive. Now that Mr. Troy Sneed has crossed the bar (something all of us must do at life's end), we must loose him and let him go. There is a brighter side somewhere and surely Mr. Troy Sneed can walk around HEAVEN all day. "Excellence is to do a common thing in an uncommon way" (Booker T. Washington). Troy we had great times growing up in East Perry playing football and basketball in your moms backyard as well as football in high school. Yes it did hurt when you would tear our heads off. I loved when we played baseball because I was better than you in something. We laughed at your neighborhood band when you played drums then we paid for it during football. You moved on in life and became successful in all you wanted to. Proud of you and Rest In Peace my brother. To your family Troy was a good guy and was full of laughter and jokes. He will be missed greatly but keep your heads up.

Words can never express the sadness in my heart hearing of the illness and transition of God's messenger in song. God inspired him in such a way that touched millions of lives. HIs music brought me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. I know God used him to speak to me.
Praying for his entire family and host of friends. We will definitely miss him. But there is joy in knowing that He said YES along time ago so we rest knowing that ALL IS WELL!!
